What is a facial?
Depending on the type, facials can either focus on deep cleansing, deep relaxation, intense hydration, age or acne management or a combination of all of the above.

Why should I get a facial?
Facials are for your mind, skin and spirit. For your mind, they deeply relax, for your skin, they deeply cleanse and hydrate and for your spirit, a facial gives you the excuse to nurture and rest. Alayne White facials will be the best facial experience you will ever have.

Will I break out after a facial?
If your skin has not had a facial ever or in quite some time, you may get a small break out. Facials are stimulating, cleansing and hydrating and on occasion can cause detoxification.

How will my hair look when I leave?
Alayne White Spa offers no hair services so we can keep the environment true and peaceful. Our facial and massage services are about making you feel incredible from head to toe so though your head might feel great when you leave, your hair won't look like it did when you arrived. Feel free to bring a hat or allow us to schedule you for a shampoo and blow dry at one of the salons nearby.

Can I put makeup on after a facial or treatment?
Absolutely! Our makeup is an extension of our skin care and not only can you put it on, we put it on for you! Complimentary makeovers are included with every appointment (yes, even bikini and brow waxes).

Do men get facials?
This is a common question from our female population. Women can be on the facial bed resting for the first time in their week and that is the # 1 question they ask us. Our answer is always a resounding yes! We love to give men spa treatments; this way men completely grasp why women need to come to the spa, so send him in!

What is a body treatment?
A body treatment is similar to a facial except it is for the entire body. The body is completely covered during any treatment and if you are modest, you can bring a bathing suit for the treatment.

What are your sanitation procedures?
We love it when clients ask, but since many don't, we want to tell you what we do because we take extreme pride in our attention to this industry wide matter.
We use disposable instruments whenever possible. When this is not possible, ie mask brushes, cuticle nippers, tweezers, we have a triple sanitation procedure where we wash the implements in hot water and an anti-microbial industry approved disinfectant. The implements are then alcohol sprayed and placed into a ultraviolet sterilizer for a minimum of 20 minutes. Our towels and sheets are sent out to a professional laundering service. All of our staff goes through a skill certification in sanitation and we follow it like a religion. Please feel free to ask us about this anytime. We are proud of these procedures and know we are an example in this industry.

With respect to our time and our business, if you can't keep an appointment, just give us a call so we can try to fill the space.

With respect to your spirit and the clients around you, please turn off your cell phone or let us know you need to talk on it and we will happily show you a private place you can go to.

When booking one appointment, we will ask you to reserve the appointment with a credit card. Our cancellation policy is should you cancel in less than 24 hours or fail to show up for an appointment, your credit card will be charged for the full amount or your gift certificate will be forfeited.
