I adopted a 7 year old Yorkshire terrier 6 months ago. I have never had a dog before, did not really grow up with a dog, but Frankie as we call him, was put into my world to change all of that. For the most part, I would say Frankie is a pretty good dog, but then again I have nothing to compare it to. He wakes us up occasionally in the wee hours of the morning, sometimes pees in the house and is a little possessive with his toys.

We are a boutique style spa with attention to detail and service. If you are looking for the 'mega spa' experience, we are definitely not it, but if you are looking for a spa experience that is intimate where we get to know you, where we enjoy and appreciate your business and treat you like special guests in our home, we are it. Located inside the charming Bristol Harbor Inn in Bristol, Rhode Island, and near Wayland Square in Providence, Alayne White's Spas offer a unique opportunity to take a mini vacation, stay at an inn, visit a historic town overlooking Narragansett Bay, shop at the nearby boutiques, and indulge in a spa experience.

Common Sense Spa Etiquette

We know, you can't live without your cell phones, pagers, ipods and all those other devices that are supposed to save you time, but please, with respect to all of our guests, turn them off as soon as you enter the spa (yes, even if you are not having a service). Believe us, the kids, work or husbands will find you.

Gift Cards

Gift Cards are available for all of our services or in a convenient dollar amount. Though our gift cards are non refundable, they may be used towards product or any service on the menu, you can even pass it on to someone else if the time is not right for you.

Our Cancellation Policy

When booking an appointment, we will ask you to reserve the appointment with a credit card or gift card. Should you cancel in less than 24 hours or fail to show up for an appointment, your credit card will be charged for the full amount or your gift certificate will be forfeited. With respect to our time and our business, if you can't keep an appointment, just give us a call so we can try to fill the space.

Children

Alayne is a mom so she gets the whole mom thing, but not all of our clients are moms and some of them are here to get away from it all. So, if you are scheduling an appointment, please realize that our spa is a place of respite and escape so try to make arrangements for your little ones.

Lots of calls coming in for our annual Mother Dog Spa Day and due to lots of family things, and caretaking, we are going to skip this year. Look for it in 2011 around May and June and we should be back in full force, until then, WAG MORE, BARK LESS. Not sure who said that, but I think I saw it in a bumper sticker somewhere.
